Accounting Analyst

Job Duties

Analyze existing accounting and financial information and systems. Design accounting modules and integrated financial and accounting systems and processes. Analyze existing charts of account systems, and design and configure new chart of account modules to integrated financial and accounting systems. Analyze fund and investment management systems. Design, integrate, and configure new asset modules for various organizations. Analyze the product costing system, and design new cost center accounting module to integrate financial and accounting systems. Analyze accounts receivable and payables system. Analyze existing general ledger system, and design and configure new ledger systems module to integrated financial and accounting systems. Create and generate financial reports to determine or maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities. Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, graphs and tables for presentations.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Accounting, Business, or a related field. Plus 6 months in the job offered or 6 months in a related occupation including Graduate Assistant, Accountant, or related experience. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week, 8:00AM – 5:00PM.

Staff Auditors

Perform operational audits; perform and plan financial audits, program specific audits and compliance audits and prepare reports required by regulatory agencies; plan and conduct complex operational audits and financial consulting projects; prepare written evaluation of internal controls; analyze and design various systems, and configure into integrated financial and accounting systems; and analyze and integrate financial and cost accounting modules.

Req’s. Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or its equivalent in education and experience plus 2 years experience in the job offered or 2 years experience in an alternate occupation as an Accountant, Accounting Analyst or Finance Analyst. Will accept 3 years of college education plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or in an alternate occupation in lieu of the required education and experience.
